Our Commitment to Child Safety

walletOS is designed to be a safe, benign, and privacy-respecting tool for all users. We are committed to the protection of minors and full compliance with applicable child safety laws and platform policies, including Google Play's Families Policy.

Core Safety Principles

The following principles govern how walletOS is designed, distributed, and maintained with child safety in mind.

No Data Collection from Minors
walletOS collects zero personal data from any user — regardless of age. Children's information is never stored, transmitted, or processed on external servers.
No Advertising
walletOS contains no advertisements of any kind — no banners, no video ads, no sponsored content. Children using the app are not exposed to any marketing.
No In-App Purchases
There are no in-app purchases, premium upgrades, or paid features. Minors cannot accidentally make purchases within walletOS.
No Social Features
walletOS has no social networking, chat, community features, user profiles, or any mechanism for strangers to contact each other through the app.
No Account Required
walletOS requires no registration, email address, or account creation. Children do not share any identifying information to use the app.
Appropriate Content Only
The app contains only personal finance tools — numbers, categories, charts. There is no user-generated content, external links to harmful material, or age-inappropriate content.

No User-Generated Content

walletOS does not allow users to submit, upload, share, or broadcast any content to other users or to our servers. The app is a personal, single-user, offline tool. All data entered by the user stays entirely on their own device and is never accessible to anyone else.

Because there is no user-generated content platform, there is no vector for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, cyberbullying, or other content-related harms that this policy typically addresses.

Important: walletOS has a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child exploitation or abuse. If we ever discover content within our control that violates this standard, we will immediately report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement, as required by law.

Parental Guidance

walletOS can be a useful educational tool for teenagers and young adults learning to manage their finances. Parents and guardians may wish to use the app alongside their children to teach budgeting, saving, and expense tracking.

Since all data is stored locally, parents can review a child's app data simply by looking at the device. There are no hidden accounts, server-side profiles, or external communications to worry about.

Tip for parents: The "Wipe All Data" option in Settings → Data lets you instantly reset the app to a clean state if you want to start fresh or hand the device to someone else.

Reporting Concerns

While the nature of walletOS (an offline, single-user finance app) makes most child safety concerns inapplicable, we take any report seriously. If you believe walletOS is being used in a manner that harms a child, or if you have any concerns related to child safety, please contact us immediately.

How to Report a Concern

Send an email to our safety team with a clear description of your concern. We commit to acknowledging all safety-related reports within 24 hours and resolving them as quickly as possible.

For reports of CSAM or child exploitation involving our platform, we will immediately escalate to NCMEC's CyberTipline and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
